Scott  was pointed in conformation and lure coursing.  We enjoyed showing Scott and Kate, at the 1981 BCOA National Specialty, the first of many Nationals that we would attend.  Scott had a wonderful personality, and we had great hopes for him as a show dog.  His eyes were certified as normal by a specialist in 1983.  Though he had not been sick, we found him dead one morning, January 1985.  He did not bloat, but no cause of death was confirmed.  All his other littermates, and his parents, lived between 10 & 13+  years.
