2022 -

November 18, at the Dayton kennel club show in Columbus OH, Skye won her second major to finish her Championship

October 29, at the Delaware OH show, George won SD for one point to finish his Grand Champion Bronze (GCHB) title. He is now retired.

October 21, sheltie Chance earned his third leg to finish his Rally Intermediate (RI) title. Borzoi Skye earned 3 Qs in 3 trials that weekend and earned her Rally Intermediate title.

October 8, at the Monroe MI show, George won BOS for one point.

August 6-7, at the shows in Canfield OH, George won BOB Saturday for 4 GCH points and Best of Breed on Sunday for 3 GCH points.

At the July DDTC trials, sheltie Chance earned two legs for his Rally Intermediate title.

May 28-29, at the Cincinnati shows, George won Select Dog for 1 point on Saturday and Best of Breed over a special for 3 points on Sunday.

May 14, at the Dayton Dog Training Club's test day, Joe passed the Community Canine test (CGCA) and our sheltie Chance passed the Community Canine test and the Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) test. So both dogs have earned all 3 of the Canine Good Citizen titles.

May 7 and 8 - at the Crawford County shows in Lima Ohio, George won Select Dog for 3 points on Saturday and Best of Breed over 3 specials for 5 points on Sunday.

April 29 - at the Munice Indiana Dog training club trials, Skye earned her second and third legs to finish her Rally Novice title.

April 22, 23 & 24 - At the Dan Emmett and Central Ohio shows in Columbus, George was Best of Breed all 3 days for 4 GCH points Friday, 4 GCH points Saturday, and 5 GCH points Sunday. He won over 3 specials on Friday and Saturday and over 5 specials on Sunday. He passed heart, eye and thyroid tests, again.

April 2 & 3 - At the Warren County Ohio shows, George was Select Dog for 4 GCH point on Saturday, but was lame on Sunday.

March 13 - At the QCDTC trial, Skye earned her first Rally Novice leg.

March 5 & 6 - At the Medina Ohio shows, Skye was WB/BOS both days for 2 points and George was Best of Breed both days for a total of 7 GCH points.

February 20 - Our 2 year old Shetland Sheepdog, Chance competed at the Hamilton dog training club, finishing his Rally Novice (RN) title. He earned a 92 for his third leg, then just for fun, we stayed for the afternoon trial, and Chance earned a 90. At both trials, he was second place in the Novice B class.

February 1 - The results of the BCOA Annual Versatility Award were announced. With 60 points, Ace is in second place. Joe is in 7th place. This was the fifth year that Joe's win records were submitted for this award. Joe won in 2017 and 2018, and his litter sisters won the award in 2016 and 2019. What a fun journey, this has been.

January 8-9 - At the Dayton Dog Training Club trials, our Shetland Sheepdog, Chance competed at his first trials. Saturday he earned a 93 in Rally Novice. Sunday he earned a 99 and a third place in a large Rally Novice B class.

 2021 -

November 21 - At the Central Ohio kennel club show, held in Columbus Ohio, George won BOS over several other male specials, for a 5 point GCH major. Also, Ace beat eleven class males for Winners Dog and a 5 point major to finish his Championship. This was an Midwest Borzoi Club trophy supported entry.

November 17 - At the Sandusky kennel club show, held in Columbus Ohio, George won BOS for a 4 point GCH major over other specials.

November 13-14 - At the Columbus Dog Training club trial, Ace earned his first leg for his Rally Advanced title with a score of 85. The next day, he showed at Munice Indiana where he qualified at both trials with scores of 80 and 94, to finish his Rally Advanced title, and earning his 4th title this year.

October 30-31 - At the Delaware Ohio show, George won BOS both days for 2 points on Saturday and 3 points on Sunday. At her first shows since August 2019, our young girl Skye was BW for 1 point on Saturday and 2 points on Sunday, giving her a total of 5 points towards her Championship.

October 16 - Joe passed the Canine Good Citizen Urban test, to earn the CGCU title. Joe's niece Skye and our sheltie Chance passed the Canine Good Citizen test, to earn CGC titles.

July 16 - At the Dayton Dog training club trial, Dawn earned an 83 for her second leg in Rally Advanced. Ace earned a 188 to finish his Beginner Novice title.

May 25 - At the BCOA National Specialty, Joe earned a 183.5 to finish his Companion Dog (CD) title. Joe was second place in the Novice B class. Ace earned a 95 for his third leg to finish his Rally Intermediate title (RI). Ace placed third in the class, just one point out of first place. Joe and Ace also competed in the AKC lure coursing trial and in the triathlon. Joe and George were shown in Best of Breed, May 29 which had 66 male specials, and George made the first cut. Steve and I enjoyed the week long show, which was in Wilmington Ohio.

May 8 - George won Best Opposite Sex over specials for 4 points at the Crawford county show in Lima Ohio.

April 30 & May 1 - At the Munice Indiana dog training club trials, Ace earned his first and second legs towards his Rally Intermediate title, and also earned his second leg towards his Beginner Novice title. Joe earned a 98 and finished his Rally Advanced title.

April 23 & 24, at the Dan Emmett kennel club shows, Ace was Winners Dog for 1 point Friday and a 3 point major Saturday, handled by Steve. Georgewon Best of Opposite Sex Friday for 1 GCH point, Best of Opposite Sex Saturday for 4 GCH points and Best of Breed Sunday for 5 GCH points.

April 10, at the Indiana Lure Coursing Club's trial, Ace earned his Master Courser title. Joe placed third out of 6 field champions, earning Master Courser leg #21.

April 3 & 4, George won Select Dog for 4 points, owner handled at the Warren County kennel club show. The next day, George won Best of Breed over 3 other specials and 10 class borzoi, for 5 points to finish his Grand Champion title.

March 20 and 21, at the Lima Ohio AKC lure coursing trials, Ace earned Master Courser leg 24, but was lame on Sunday.   Saturday, six year old Joe won a point winning second place out of 5 younger field champions. On Sunday Joe tied for third place out of 6 field champions. Joe now has 20 Master Courser legs, and needs 25 for the title.

 2020 -

November 6, at the Munice obedience trial, Ace earns his first Beginner Novice (BN) leg.

October 18, at the MBC AKC lure coursing trials, George earns his Junior Courser title. Joe ties for third place out of 10, in the Specials stake.

October 10 and 11, at the Crawford county shows, George wins BOB both days for two 4 point majors over 3 other specials.

September 13, at the Licking River county show, George wins BOB for 1 point over a special handled by Steve.

January 4 & 5, at the Rubber City kennel club shows, George wins BOS for 1 point on Saturday handled by KC. On Sunday, George wins BOB over a male special for a 4 point GCH major, handled by Steve. Ace was also shown going WD on Saturday for one point, handled by Steve. On Sunday Ace won WD/BW for one point, handled by KC. Ace now has 8 single points.

 2019 -

December 28 and 29 - at the COACH lure coursing trials, Ace competes both days in the open stake, earning 2 more Master Courser legs. He has a total of 21. Joe competes in the Special stake both days, earning two Master Courser legs. He has a total of 16. Dawn also earned two Master Courser legs (total of 10), and 2 LCX points for BOB both days.

November 30 - at the Queen City Dog Training club's trial, Dawn earned her third leg and finished her Beginner Novice (BN) title in 3 trials. Handled by KC.

November 23 & 24 - at the Toledo club's trials, Dawn earned her first and second legs for her Beginner Novice title. Handled by KC.

November 10 - at the Columbus Ohio DTC trial, Dawn earned her third leg to finish her rally Intermediate title in 3 trials. Handled by KC.

November 9 - at the Columbus DTC trial, Joe earned his second leg for his rally Advanced title. Also, Dawn earned her second leg for her rally Intermediate title. Handled by KC.

November 3 - at the Ft Wayne Indiana rally trial, Joe earned his first leg for his rally Advanced title. Also, Dawn earned her first leg for her rally Intermediate tite. Handled by KC.

October 19 and 20- at the MBC AKC lure coursing trials, Ace competes both days in the open stake of 10 borzoi, earning 2 more Master Courser legs. Joe wins 5th place out of 9 field champions on Saturday, and on Sunday, tied for second place with two other dogs. Joe ended up with 1 LCX point for third place. Joe also earned two Master Courser legs.

October 5 and 6 - at the OKIGO AKC lure coursing trials, Ace gets fourth place both days in the open stake for two more legs for his Master Courser title. Joe wins 4th place out of 10 field champions on Saturday, and on Sunday ties for first place out of 8 field champions. He did not win the run-off but did get 1 LCX point for third place. Joe also earned two Master Courser legs.

September 29 - at the Monroe Michigan show, George won Select Dog and a 4 point GCH major over 2 other male specials, his first time out as a Special at the Monroe Michigan show. Handled by Steve.

September 15 - at the Licking River Ohio kennel club show, George wins BOB and a 3 point major, to finish his Championship, handled by Steve.

September 14 - at the Licking River Ohio kennel club show, Gwen wins BOB, to finish her Grand Championship with 6 majors and 5 wins over other specials. Handled all the way, by KC. Her litter brother George gets Winners Dog for 2 points, handled by Steve.

September 8 - at the Warren County kennel club show, George wins BOB and 1 point, handled by Steve.

August 29 and 30, puppies born from two daughters of GCH DC Windrift Tahoe Chances Are FCH ROM-C. One litter is in Indiana, and the other litter is in New Mexico. See Puppies .

August 24 & 25, at the OKIGO trials, Gwen wins first out of 3, and second out of 2, for points. Dawn wins second out of three open borzoi, and first out of 2, to finish her ASFA Field Championship.

August 16, at the Anderson Indiana show Dawn won the final point to finish her AKC Conformation Championship, handled by Steve.

July 28, at the Marion Ohio show, 9 month old Skye was shown for the first time, and won 2 points, from the puppy class, beating four adult major pointed bitches. Judge Judy Lowther. Owner handled by Steve. (show picture)

July 12 & 13, Joe earned his second and third legs to finish his Rally Intermediate (RI) title at the Dayton Dog Training Club's trials. Handled by his owner and trainer, KC.

June 22 & 23 - At the Lake Shore Indiana shows, George  won WD Saturday for 1 point owner handled by KC, and WD, BW, BOS over 3 male specials on Sunday for a 3 point major, handled by his breeder Nancy Reimer. Also on Sunday, Dawnwon her third major owner handled by KC.

June 15 & 16 - Gwen won BOB both days for a 4 point GCH major and a 5 point GCH major, at the Echo Hills of Troy Ohio shows, owner handled. Gwen is up to 21 GCH points. Dawnwon her second major on Sunday and is up to 11 points.

May 25 - Gwen won an Award of Merit at the Midwest Borzoi Club specialty, under breeder judge Barbara O'Neill, at Kalamazoo Michigan, owner handled by KC.

May 12 - 18 Joe enjoyed being the only dog to go with KC, to the Borzoi National Specialty at Gettysburg PA. Joe won second out of 7 field champions at the ASFA trial, in spite of the heavy rain and muddy field. Joe earned another qualifying score in Rally Novice, and his first qualifying score in Rally Intermediate. Joe & KC enjoyed competing in the triathlon and in the Dual Champion sweepstakes, even though we didn't get any placements. Joe also competed in a huge BOB class, where he made the first cut.

April 27 & 28 - Gwen wins BOB both days over a special for a 4 point GCH major and a 3 point GCH major, owner handled by KC. Also winning at the Ft St Clair Ohio shows, was her brother George WD for 2 more points, owner handled by Steve. Dawnwon a point Saturday, owner handled by KC.

April 21 - Gwen won BOS over 2 bitch specials for a 4 point major at the Central Ohio show, owner handled by KC.

April 13 - Joe won his 15th point to finish his AKC Field Championship, at the COACH trial, in Hilliard Ohio.

April 7 - Five months old Skye went to her first show, the Dayton kennel club match, where she was the only borzoi, and placed 3rd in the 3 - 6 month Hound group. Skye stood nicely, let the judge check her teeth, and gaited well. She was confident, and enjoyed showing, meeting people and other dogs.

April 6 - Joe won his 14th point at AKC lure coursing, at the Munice Indiana trial.

February 2 - Skye moves from southern California to join our family.

 2018 -

For 2018, Joe ended up ranked #9 in the country for AKC coursing, with 40 Bowen points. He only ran in 7 trials. He won the BCOA 2018 Versatility Award (for the second year in a row). In the 2018 BCOA rankings, Joe was #4 in AKC lure coursing and #8 in novice obedience. Our Dawn was ranked #5 for the 2018 BCOA Versatility award, and ranked #2 in rally novice. Our Ace was ranked #6 for the 2018 BCOA Versatility award, and ranked #5 in rally novice.

December 28 - Dawn who had previously won 14 points, 4 majors, ties for first place out of 10 borzoi to finish her AKC Field Champion title.  Gwen goes to her third AKC trial, and in the open stake of 10 dogs, ties for 4th place, earning her third leg towards the Senior Courser title,

November 24 & 25 - Dawn won points both days at the COACH trials. Dawn needs 10 more points to finish her ASFA field champion title.

November 24 - At the COACH ASFA trial both Joe and Ace won enough points, to finish their ASFA Field Champion (FCH) titles

November 17 - Dawn was awarded BW/WB for a 4 point major at the Lima kennel club show, handled by Holley Eldred. Plus Ace won WD for 2 points, owner handled by Steve

November 16 - George won BW/WD for 2 points, owner handled by Steve at the Dayton kennel club show

November 3 - Dawn and Ace pass all three Canine Good Citizen tests (CGC, CGCA and CGCU).

October 21 -  Joe wins third place out of 10 borzoi, for 2 points towards his AKC Field Champion title at the MBC trial.

October 20 & 21 -  Gwen goes to her first two AKC trials, and in the open stakes of 10 dogs, gets two legs for her Senior Courser title, and wins 4th place on Sunday, at the MBC trials in Lima.

October 19 -  Joe earns his second leg towards his Companion Dog (CD) title, with owner KC, at the Dayton Dog Training club's trial.

October 6 -  Joe wins 1 point towards his AKC Field Champion title at the OKIGO trial.

September 15 -  Ace earns his Rally Novice (RN) title at the Licking River Ohio kennel club trial.  Joe earns his first leg towards his Companion Dog (CD) title, with owner KC.

September 8 -  Joe wins his 10th point at AKC coursing at the WindChasers trial in Indiana.

August 25 - Joe wins 12 points, Gwen wins 9 points and Ace wins 6 points at the OKIGO ASFA trial.

August 24 - Joe wins 8 points and Ace wins 6 points at the OKIGO ASFA trial.

August 19 - Ace earns his second Rally Novice leg at the Queen City training club's trial, with owner KC.

August 15 -   Joe wins BOB to finish his Grand Championship, at the Marion Indiana show, handled by KC.

August 11 - George won Reserve Winners Dog at the Midwest Borzoi Club Specialty in Franksville Wisconsin, handled by Steve.

July 27 - Gwen wins her first GCH point and a win over a special, handled by KC, at the Dan Emmett kennel club show.

June 16 & 17 -   Joe wins BOS over a male special for 2 GCH points and 1 point the next day, owner handled by KC.  George wins WD both days, for a total of 2 points at the Echo Hills Ohio shows, handled by Steve.

June 10 - Ace earns his first Rally Novice leg at the Clermont county training club's trial, with owner KC.

May 25 - Joe wins his 21th GCH point at the Warren country kennel club show, handled by Steve.

May 5 - Dawn wins a 3 point major (her fourth major) in AKC coursing at the OKIGO trial.  She needs 1 point to finish.

April 28 & 29 - Gwen wins two 3 point majors at the Ft St Clair Ohio shows, to finish with 5 majors, handled by KC.

April 22 -   Joe wins Best of Breed over 22 borzoi, including 3 specials, at the Central Ohio show, owner handled by KC.

April 8 - Gwen earns her second Junior Courser leg to finish her title.  Joe wins his 9th point at AKC coursing. 

March 31 - Gwen earns her first Junior Courser leg. 

March 11 - Gwen wins WB/BW for a 3 point major at the Logansport IN show handled by KC.

March 10 - Gwen wins BOS over 3 bitch specials for a 4 point major at the Logansport IN show handled by KC.

March 1 - Joe is the Winner of the Borzoi Club of America's Versatility Award for 2017.

February 18 - Dawn finishes her Rally Novice (RN) title at the Hamilton DTC trial.

December 17 - 5 - Ace and Joe won more ASFA points at the COACH trial.  Ace has 76 total points and Joe has 77 total points.

December 3 - Dawn earns her second leg for her Rally Novice (RN) title at the QCDTC trial.

November 25 - Ace and Joe won more ASFA points at the COACH trial.  Gwen got her first practice and she likes lure coursing.

November 17 - Gwen wins a 3 point major in conformation at the Dayton kennel club show in Columbus, handled by KC.  Windrift Bella wins Select Bitch for a 4 point major over specials, handled by owner Nancy Reimer.

October 6 - Dawn wins a 3 point major in AKC coursing, by winning first out of 7 borzoi at the Midwest Borzoi Club's specialty trial.  This finished her Senior Courser title.  The next two days, she was in a three way tie for third place out of 12 borzoi and out of 10 borzoi at the OKIGO trials, but we forfeited the run-offs, due to the heat.  Joe also finished his Senior Courser title this weekend.

September 9 & 10 - Dawn wins a first place at WCLCC, and ties for first place (forfeited to second place) the next day, for 14 ASFA points.  Dawn has a total of 80 ASFA points.

September 2 & 3 - Dawn wins BOB over a Field Champion, Ace wins points and Joe wins points at the OKIGO ASFA trials.

August 20 - Ace wins his second first placement in ASFA, at the COACH trial.

August 19 - Dawn wins her fourth first placement in ASFA, in 4 trials.

August 12 -  Joe wins an Award of Merit at the Midwest Borzoi Club Specialty show in Wisconsin, handled by Steve.

July 14 - Dawn earns her first leg for her Rally Novice (RN) title at the DDTC trial.

June 30 - Dawn wins her first point in conformation at the Sandusky show, handled by KC.

May 18 - At the BCOA specialty: George wins 4th place in the 12 - 18 month regular class (14 dogs) handled by Steve.

May 17 - At the BCOA specialty: George wins 3rd place in the 12 - 15 month sweepstakes class (14 dogs) handled by Ariel Duncan.

May 16 -  At the BCOA specialty in Hunt Valley Maryland: Joe earns third leg to finish his Beginner Novice (BN) title handled by KC.  George wins 3rd place in the 12 - 15 month futurity class (11 dogs) handled by Steve.  Gwen wins 4th place in the 12 - 15 months futurity class (9 bitches) handled by KC.

May 7 -  Ace wins his first point in AKC coursing at the OKIGO trial.

April 30 - At the Eaton Ohio show, Steve handles George to his first point win in conformation.

April 15 -   Ace wins first at the ASFA trial in Columbus. 

April 8 & 9 - Joe wins first in the open stake both days for a 3 point major and a 4 point major, plus earned his first two legs towards his Senior Courser title.  Ace places fourth both days (out of 7 and out of 8 borzoi) and earned his Senior Courser (SC) title.  These AKC trials were held by the ILCC at Munice Indiana.

April 1 & 2 - Dawn wins first in the open stake both days for a 3 point major and a 2 point win, plus earns her first two legs towards her Senior Courser title.  Ace also ran well and earned his first two legs for his Senior Courser title.  These AKC trials were held by the RRRRCOM club in Michigan.

February 26 -  Joe earns second leg for his Beginner Novice (BN) title, handled by KC.

February 11 -  Joe earns a 5 point GCH major at the Central Indiana show, handled by Steve.

January 7 -  Joe earns his first leg towards his Beginner Novice (BN) title, handled by KC.

December 29 & 30 - Dawn wins first again (24 points), Joe wins 18 points and Ace wins 12 points at two ASFA trials.

December 10 - Dawn wins 12 points, Joe wins 9 points and Ace wins 6 points at their first ASFA trial.

November 5 - Ace and Joe passed their AKC QC tests.

October 1 & 2 - Ace and Dawn earn their Junior Courser titles.

September 17 -  Joe wins his final Championship point at the Licking River Ohio show, handled by KC.

August 21 -  Joe wins a point at the Clairsville Ohio show, handled by KC.

August 20 - 13 month old Ace wins a points from the 12 - 18 month class at the Clairsville show handled by Steve.

May 8 -  Joe earns his Junior Courser title, first time lure coursing, without practicing.

April 30 - Nine month old Ace wins his first point at the Fort St Clair show, handled by KC.

April 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 - At the Borzoi Club of America National Specialty in Lawrence Kansas, Joe finished his Rally Novice title, placed First in the 15 - 18 month male Futurity class and placed 4th out of 16 males in the 12 - 18 month male regular class.  Competing at their first show, Ace places 2nd in the 6 - 9 month male Futurity class of 7 males, and Dawn places 2nd in the 6 - 9 month female Futurity class of 12 females, and they helped their dam win First in the Futurity Brood Bitch class.  In the regular 6 - 9 month classes, Ace did not place in a class of 11 males, and Dawn made the cut of 6 females in a class of 15.

March 13 - Skip wins BOS for 2 GCH points at the Logansport show, handled by KC.  That win finished his Grand Championship.

March 12 & 13 - Joe earns two points at the Logansport shows, handled by Steve.

February 27 - Joe earns his second Rally Novice leg at the Columbus DTC, handled by KC.

February 21 - Joe earns his first Rally Novice leg at the Hamilton DTC, handled by KC.

February 13 - Joe wins a 4 point major at Indianapolis, owner handled by KC.  Skip wins Select Dog for a 4 point major over male specials, owner handled by Steve.

January 3 & 4 - Luke finishes his Rally Novice (RN) title.  Gala qualifies at her first two rally-novice trials.  Clint earns his first "leg" towards his Companion Dog (CD) title.  James earns two "legs" for his rally novice title.
