Butch enjoyed lure coursing, and helped his littermates establish a breed record of 7 field champions, with 3 others pointed from 1 litter.  Butch had 12 points, 1 major in conformation when an injury ended his career.   His eyes were certified as normal by a specialist in 1985.  Butch passed away May 4, 1991.
