We are delighted with our "grand-pups" - their sire's sire is our Edward. Two other litter sisters are CH Windrift Lover Come Back " Siren" (2019 MBC WB) and DC Windrift Light My Fire JC SC "Dory "", (3 majors in conformation and ASFA pointed), both handled by breeders-owners Jon & Nancy Reimer 2022: Starting this year right, on March 5 & 6, George won Best of Breed both days at the Medina shows for a total of 7 points. At his next show, April 2, he won Select Dog over a male special for 4 points. April 22, 23 & 24, at the Dan Emmett and Central Ohio shows in Columbus, George won Best of Breed all 3 days for 4 GCH points Friday, 4 GCH points Saturday, and 5 GCH points Sunday. He won over 3 specials on Friday and Saturday and over 5 specials on Sunday. George is pictured below, with judge Daniel Dowling and handler Gerry Thornton. At the Crawford County shows, George won Select Dog for 3 points on Saturday and Best of Breed over 3 specials for 5 points on Sunday. At the Cincinnati show, George won Select Dog for 1 point on Saturday and Best of Breed over a special for 3 points on Sunday. At the Canfield OH shows, August 6 & 7, George won BOB on Saturday for 4 GCH points and BOB on Sunday for 3 GCH points. At the next show, Monroe MI on October 2, George won BOS for 1 GCH point. George finished his Grand Champion Bronze title with a one point win for Select Dog, at the October 29, 2022, Delaware Ohio show. For 2022, the Midwest Borzoi Club ranked George #2 male, based on Borzoi defeated for BOB and BOS.
2021: April 3 & 4, 2021, finally, there are dog shows to attend in this area. At the Warren County kennel club shows, George wins Select Dog for 4 points, owner handled. The next day, George wins Best of Breed over 3 other specials and 10 class borzoi, for 5 points to finish his Grand Champion title. April 23, 24, 25, George won Best Opposite Sex for 1 GCH point Friday, Best Opposite Sex Saturday for 4 GCH points and Best of Breed Sunday for 5 GCH points, at the shows held in Marion Ohio. May 8, George won Best Opposite Sex over specials for 4 points. May 29, George was shown at the BCOA National Specialty where he made the first cut in a group of 66 male specials. October 30-31, 2021, at our first shows since the National, George won BOS both days at the Delaware Ohio shows, for 2 points on Saturday and 3 points on Sunday. At the Sanduskey kennel club show, held in Columbus, George won BOS for 4 points.

2019: September 28, 2019, first time out as a special, George wins Select Dog for a 4 point GCH major over two male specials, at the Monroe Michigan show, handled by Steve. 2020: January 4 & 5, 2020 at the Rubber City kennel club shows, George wins BOS for 1 point on Saturday handled by KC. On Sunday, George wins BOB over a male special for a 4 point GCH major, handled by Steve. Since then, George has been relaxing at home, because of the COVID-10 virus resulting in dog events being cancelled. September 13, 2020, George wins BOB over a special and 1 point, at the Licking River county show, handled by Steve. October 10-11, 2020, George wins BOB both days, for two 4 point majors over 3 other specials, at the Crawford county shows. October 18, 2020 George earns his Junior Courser (JC) title. For the MBC rankings, 1 Septemper 2019 to 31 December 2020, George was #7 Conformation males, based on borzoi defeated for BOB and BOS wins.
September 14, 2019 at the Licking River Ohio show, George wins WD for 2 points, handled by Steve. The next day, George wins Best of Breed for a 3 point major to finish his Championship. (pictured above). September 8, at the Warren county Ohio show, George wins BOB and a point, handled by Steve. June 22 & 23, at the Lake Shore Indiana shows, George won 1 point Saturday owner handled by KC. On Sunday he won WD, BW and BOS over 3 male specials, for a 3 point major, handled by his breeder Nancy Reimer. April 27 & 28, George wins WD for 2 conformation points, handled by Steve, at the Ft St Clair kennel club shows. 2018: November 16, 2018, George won 2 conformation points at the Dayton show, handled by Steve. August 11, 2018, George won Reserve Winners Dog at the Midwest Borzoi Club specialty in Wisconsin, handled by Steve. (pictured below). June 16 & 17, 2018, George wins 2 conformation points, handled by Steve, at the Echo Hills kennel club shows.
In 2016, George attended puppy obedience class and passed the AKC STAR puppy test at 5 months of age. George was shown a couple of times in the puppy class in the fall of 2016 and in the spring of 2017. April 30, 2017, the 11 month old George won his first point in conformation. At the May 2017 BCOA specialty in Maryland, George won a placement in every class he was shown in: 3rd place in 12-15 month futurity (11 dogs), 3rd place in the 12 - 15 months sweepstakes class (14 dogs) and 4th place in the 12 - 18 month regular dog class (14 dogs). After that, George stayed home to mature and grow into his 33" tall frame. |
